The LUTRON ELECTRONICS RRD-HN3S-WH is a hybrid 3-scene wall dimmer designed for use with Lutron RadioRA 2 and Caseta-compatible lighting control systems. It functions as a local control device, allowing an electrician or lighting controls technician to set and recall up to three preset light levels directly at the wall. The hybrid architecture enables it to operate on a standard low-voltage radio frequency network while maintaining wired control capability, making it suitable for both new construction and retrofit applications where reliable scene-based lighting control is required.
This dimmer is intended for residential and light commercial installations where multi-scene lighting control is integrated into a RadioRA 2 system. It mounts in a standard single-gang wallbox and is configured using the RadioRA 2 programming software or the Lutron app, depending on system setup. Typical applications include living spaces, conference rooms, and hospitality environments where preset scene recall at the switch location is part of the lighting design. The unit ships as a single device.
Designed as an OEM-style wall control for use within Lutron RadioRA 2 hybrid lighting control systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes. Power to the circuit must be shut off at the breaker panel before wiring or mounting. Follow the Lutron system wiring documentation for proper traveler and neutral connections specific to the RadioRA 2 hybrid topology. Do not exceed the dimmer load rating specified in the Lutron installation sheet included with the device.
