The LUKJAN SK01314100 is a two-piece buttonlock wall stack duct section designed for residential and light commercial HVAC supply air distribution. Measuring 100 inches in length with a 3-1/4 x 14 inch cross-section, this wall stack fits into standard stud-bay and wall cavity installations where low-profile rectangular duct routing is required. The buttonlock seam construction allows the two-piece halves to snap together on the job, reducing sheet metal handling time and simplifying installation in tight framing cavities. Licensed HVAC technicians and sheet metal installers use this type of wall stack to route conditioned air from a floor-level plenum or trunk line up through interior wall cavities to ceiling or high-wall supply registers.
This wall stack section is suited for residential forced-air systems where interior wall cavities serve as the supply duct pathway. It is commonly installed in new construction and retrofit applications where trunk-and-branch or perimeter loop distribution systems require a vertical duct run inside a 2x4 or 2x6 framed wall. The 3-1/4 x 14 profile is a widely used wall stack size compatible with standard wall stack fittings, boots, and end caps of the same cross-sectional dimension.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-construction supply duct component for residential forced-air HVAC systems using 3-1/4 x 14 inch wall stack fittings and boots.
Wall stack duct sections are installed by licensed HVAC technicians or certified sheet metal workers in accordance with SMACNA duct construction standards and applicable local mechanical codes. Shut down the air handler and close the supply air isolation point before connecting to an existing duct system. Secure both buttonlock halves fully along the entire seam length before securing the section within the wall cavity. Seal all joints with UL 181-listed mastic or metal foil tape as required by code prior to closing the wall.
