The LS ELECTRIC 64150003 is a communication protocol module that adds Ethernet IP and Modbus TCP network capability to the LSLV-S100 AC drive. It installs directly into the drive to enable integration with industrial control networks, PLCs, SCADA systems, and building automation systems that use standard Ethernet-based protocols. Licensed electricians, industrial controls technicians, and automation integrators typically specify and install this module as part of a variable frequency drive commissioning or retrofit project. It is a purpose-built option card designed to extend the networking capability of the LSLV-S100 platform.
This module is designed for use with the LS ELECTRIC LSLV-S100 AC drive series in industrial and commercial applications where remote monitoring, parameter control, or process automation over an Ethernet network is required. Typical installation scenarios include conveyor systems, pump and fan control panels, and motor control centers where Ethernet IP or Modbus TCP supervisory control is already in use. It allows the LSLV-S100 drive to communicate bidirectionally over a standard Ethernet infrastructure without requiring a separate gateway device.
Designed for use exclusively with the LS ELECTRIC LSLV-S100 AC drive series. This module is not a universal option card and is not interchangeable with other LS ELECTRIC drive platforms.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified industrial controls technician familiar with variable frequency drive option card installation. Power down and fully de-energize the LSLV-S100 drive and confirm that the DC bus has discharged before accessing the option card slot. Refer to the LSLV-S100 drive manual and the module installation guide for slot location, connector orientation, and required parameter configuration steps after installation. Network commissioning should follow site Ethernet IP or Modbus TCP configuration standards and applicable NEC requirements for industrial control wiring.
