The LS ELECTRIC 1324000300 is a 3-pole thermal overload relay from the Metasol Series, designed to protect motors and electrical equipment from sustained overload conditions. It carries a maximum amperage rating of 3.3 amps with an adjustable setting range of 2.5 to 4 amps, giving technicians precise calibration to match motor full-load current. The relay operates at an input voltage of 690 volts, 50/60 Hz, and holds an insulation voltage rating of 690 volts with a withstand voltage of 6 kV. The 1NO-1NC contact configuration supports both normally open and normally closed control circuit functions. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians install this device as part of motor starter assemblies in commercial and industrial panel applications.
This relay is suited for motor protection in commercial and industrial control panels where Class 20 trip class characteristics are required. It mounts on standard DIN rail or directly to a panel surface, accommodating a range of enclosure configurations. The screw terminal accepts conductors from 24 to 10 AWG for main circuit connections, with an 18 AWG auxiliary contact conductor size. The Metasol Series design integrates with compatible LS ELECTRIC contactors and motor starter components commonly used in 3-phase motor control applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation component within the LS ELECTRIC Metasol Series motor control lineup, compatible with 3-pole motor starter assemblies accepting Class 20 thermal overload relays rated up to 3.3 amps.
This device is installed by licensed electricians working on motor control circuits. De-energize and lockout/tagout the panel before installation per NFPA 70E procedures. Verify that conductor sizing meets NEC requirements for the circuit ampacity and that the current setting is adjusted to match the motor nameplate full-load amps before energizing. Mount in the vertical plane position as specified for this relay.
