The LOC-LINE 59872 is a female-to-female double socket fitting designed for use with Loc-Line modular coolant hose assemblies. Each fitting connects two 1/2-inch ID hose segments at a joint, allowing technicians to extend, redirect, or repair a modular hose run without threaded connections. The socket is unthreaded and relies on the snap-fit ball-and-socket design native to the Loc-Line system. Rated to a maximum pressure of 60 psi and a maximum temperature of 170 degrees F, it handles typical machine tool coolant and fluid delivery conditions. This package contains 20 pieces, providing enough fittings to outfit multiple tool stations or keep extras on hand for field repairs.
This fitting is used in machine shop, CNC, and industrial fluid delivery applications where a flexible, repositionable coolant line is required. It is installed wherever a broken joint needs to be repaired or a hose run needs to be lengthened within an existing Loc-Line 1/2-inch modular hose system. The double-socket design is appropriate for inline connections between two male-ended hose segments. Maximum flow rate is 478 gallons per hour, making it suitable for moderate-volume coolant delivery at the spindle or cutting tool.
Designed for use with Loc-Line 1/2-inch ID modular hose systems. Fittings are unthreaded and rely on the Loc-Line snap-fit ball-and-socket interface; they are not compatible with threaded or non-Loc-Line modular hose products.
Installation requires no tools beyond the optional Loc-Line assembly pliers recommended for tight joints. Shut off coolant flow and depressurize the line before disconnecting or inserting fittings. Snap the double socket firmly onto both male hose ends until each joint seats fully to prevent leaks under flow. Confirm the assembled hose route does not exceed the system pressure or temperature ratings before returning the machine to service.
