The LITTLE GIANT SGS-R is an adjustable spring safety gate designed for fall protection at elevated work areas such as ladders, mezzanines, and platforms. The gate features a stainless steel torsion spring that closes the gate automatically after each pass. Spring tension is adjustable and reversible, allowing the gate to be configured for left-hand or right-hand mounting depending on the install location. The outer tubing measures 1.37 inches OD with a 12-gauge wall, finished in powder-coated red for high visibility. Width adjusts from 22.5 inches to 36 inches and is secured at the desired width with set screws.

The SGS-R is suited for industrial and commercial applications where fall hazard control is required at ladder tops, stairwells, or elevated platform openings. The design helps in conforming to OSHA 1910.29 requirements for fall protection at walking-working surfaces. The mounting channel is 2 inches by 1 inch with two pre-drilled mounting holes. Hardware is not included. The gate swings in one direction only, which is standard for self-closing safety gate installations in these environments.
