The LIONBEAM lb-rk2pc-42 is a 2-post open-frame cable management rack designed for structured cabling, patch panel organization, and network equipment mounting in data centers, server rooms, and telecom closets. Standing 42U in height, equivalent to 78 inches, the rack rolls on casters for repositioning without lifting. The open 2-post design gives technicians direct access to cable runs and equipment from all sides. Cage nuts are not included and must be ordered separately under part number LB-RSC-CN. Licensed electricians, low-voltage contractors, and network infrastructure technicians are the primary installers for this type of equipment.
The lb-rk2pc-42 is suited for residential and commercial structured wiring installations where floor-standing, mobile rack access is required. Typical use cases include patch panel arrays, cable distribution frames, and lightweight network switch mounting. The open 2-post configuration is common in telecom rooms, wiring closets, and intermediate distribution frames where airflow and front-and-back cable access are priorities.
Designed as an OEM-style open-frame 2-post rack for standard 19-inch rackmount equipment including patch panels, cable managers, and network switches.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician or licensed electrician in accordance with applicable local codes and TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Lock casters before loading equipment to prevent unintended movement. Cage nuts must be installed in the rail before mounting equipment panels — order part number LB-RSC-CN separately. Do not exceed the rack load rating; verify the floor surface is level and capable of supporting the populated rack weight before placing equipment.
