The LIONBEAM lb-mlbl600 is an L-type mounting bracket designed to mount 600-pound-rated electromagnetic locks onto doors that swing outward. Machined from aluminum alloy, it provides the angular offset needed when a standard flat-mount configuration is not possible due to door swing direction or narrow frame conditions. This bracket is a hardware accessory — it does not include the electromagnetic lock itself. Access control installers and security technicians specify this bracket when installing electromagnetic locks on outward-opening doors where the lock and strike plate must maintain flush contact at the 90-degree open position.
This bracket is suited for use with 280 kg (600 lb) holding-force electromagnetic locks on wooden doors, metal doors, and narrow frame doors that open toward the outside. It is used in both residential and light commercial access control installations where outward-swing doors require a bracket offset to achieve proper lock-to-strike alignment. Installers working with frame types that cannot accommodate a direct-mount configuration rely on this L-bracket to complete a compliant installation.
Designed for use with 600 lb electromagnetic locks, including the LIONBEAM LB-ML600T series, on wooden doors, metal doors, and narrow frame doors configured to open outward.
Installation should be performed by a qualified access control or low-voltage security technician. Disengage power to the electromagnetic lock system before mounting hardware. Proper bracket alignment is critical — verify that the lock face and strike plate are flush and parallel before securing all fasteners. Follow local building and fire codes when installing electromagnetic locks on egress doors, as outward-swing configurations may have specific life-safety requirements.
