Product Description

The LID CORPORATION SF686 is a foil tape made for creating airtight and moisture-free seals. This product features an aluminum backing along with a butyl rubber adhesive, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It can be applied to Class 1 Flex Duct, sheet metal, and duct wrap vapor barriers, including approved subgrade applications on PVC-coated duct. Additionally, it is paintable and UL 181B-FX certified as a mastic on a roll. This tape maintains performance within a temperature range of negative twenty degrees Fahrenheit to two hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
