The LEVITON TELCOM ODD24-IDW is a smart wall-box Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) passive infrared (PIR) occupancy sensor designed for 24-volt control systems with integrated 0-10V dimming output. It detects occupancy through passive infrared sensing and communicates over BLE for wireless commissioning and control. The 0-10V analog output allows direct interface with compatible dimmable LED drivers and fluorescent ballasts. Licensed electricians and lighting controls technicians are the primary installers of this device in commercial and industrial lighting control applications.
The ODD24-IDW is suited for commercial interior spaces such as private offices, conference rooms, open-plan work areas, and corridors where automated lighting control is required. The wall-box form factor fits standard single-gang electrical boxes, making it a straightforward replacement or new-installation option in retrofits and new construction. The 24-volt operating voltage is common in low-voltage lighting control architectures, and the BLE radio enables wireless setup without a dedicated handheld tool or physical DIP switches.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation occupancy sensor for 24-volt commercial lighting control systems that support 0-10V dimming interfaces.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. Power down the lighting control circuit before wiring the device to the control panel or driver. Verify that the supply voltage is 24 volts DC or AC as required by the system design before energizing. BLE commissioning should be completed after physical installation using the manufacturer-specified app or control system software.
