The LEVITON TELCOM L8712 is a silk guy splice rod with a single-wrap offset eye configuration, used in telecom and utility line hardware applications. Guy splice rods are installed on messenger wires and guy strands to provide a secure termination point or mid-span splice. The offset eye design allows for attachment to anchors, turnbuckles, or other hardware fittings where a standard inline eye would not align properly.
