The LEVITON TELCOM L8672-100 is an offset eye pull grip designed to support and pull conduit, cable, or tubing through runs where a standard inline grip would not seat properly. The offset eye configuration provides an angled attachment point that accommodates installations where the pull line and the cable centerline are not co-axial. This hardware accessory is suited for conduit fill ranging from 1 inch to 1.5 inches in diameter. The double-body design distributes pulling load across a wider grip surface, reducing the risk of jacket deformation during installation. Electricians and low-voltage technicians use pull grips like this one to feed wire and cable through conduit systems during rough-in and finish work.
This pull grip is intended for use in conduit and raceway installations where cable must be pulled through bends, offsets, or straight runs. The 1 to 1.5 inch size range makes it appropriate for medium-diameter cables and conduit fills commonly found in commercial and residential electrical work, as well as low-voltage and telecom cabling applications. It is sold as a single unit and is a hardware accessory category item typically kept on service trucks or in electrical supply inventory for on-demand use.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard accessory for conduit pull operations involving cables or conduit with an outside diameter between 1 inch and 1.5 inches.
Pull grips are installed by licensed electricians or low-voltage technicians in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for conduit fill and pulling tension. De-energize all circuits in the conduit run before beginning any cable pull. Attach the pull grip securely to the cable end before threading the pull line through the eye, and verify the offset eye orientation matches the pull line angle to avoid side-loading the grip. Do not exceed the rated pulling tension for the cable jacket type being installed.
