The LEVITON TELCOM CRS6K-WRM is a Rogo-style current transformer from the S6000 series, rated for current measurement from 1600 to 6000 amps with a 300 millivolt output signal. Current transformers in this class are used to monitor high-amperage circuits without direct electrical contact with the conductor. The CRS6K-WRM delivers a proportional low-voltage output signal that can be fed to metering equipment, energy management systems, or data acquisition hardware. This device is sold individually and is intended for installation by licensed electricians or qualified electrical technicians working on commercial or industrial power monitoring systems.
The CRS6K-WRM is suited for commercial and industrial applications where high-current branch circuits or service entrance conductors require non-invasive current sensing. Typical deployment includes energy monitoring panels, building automation systems, and power quality analysis setups. The S6000 series Rogo design supports large-conductor or bus-bar installations where traditional toroidal CTs may not be practical. Installation is typically performed during panel commissioning or as part of a metering retrofit project.
Designed for use with metering and energy management systems that accept a 300 millivolt Rogowski coil signal input in the 1600 to 6000 amp measurement range.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for metering and instrument transformer wiring. De-energize and lock out the circuit before routing the Rogowski coil around the conductor. Ensure the integrator or signal input device is rated to accept a 300 millivolt output from a Rogowski-style sensor before completing the installation.
