The LEVITON MFG CO R27-LB120-SDR is a 20-amp, 1-pole smart branch circuit breaker built with thermal magnetic trip technology and a plug-on installation design. It integrates with the My Leviton app to deliver real-time energy consumption data, remote on/off switching, and custom circuit scheduling by time and day. The plug-on form factor supports a rough-in wiring approach that allows the entire load center to be wired before any breakers are installed, reducing staging time on the job. A licensed electrician installs this breaker as part of a smart electrical panel system. A Whole Home Energy Monitor (LWHEM) is required for operation. Sold in a package of 4.

This breaker is designed for residential branch circuit applications where energy monitoring and remote control are priorities. It works in conjunction with other Leviton smart products to support whole-home energy management solutions. The 10kA interrupt rating makes it suitable for standard residential service panels. It is designed specifically for use with the Leviton load center and must be paired with a compatible LWHEM to function. It is not a universal-fit breaker and should not be installed in non-Leviton load centers.

Installation Notes

Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize the load center and verify absence of voltage before handling any breakers or wiring. The plug-on design allows load center wiring to be completed at rough-in prior to breaker insertion. Confirm LWHEM is installed and commissioned before testing smart functions.
