Leviton Mfg Co 002-0661F-10W 3-speed Fan Speed Control

Product Description

The LEVITON MFG CO 002-0661F-10W is a 3-speed ceiling fan speed control in a white Decora-style finish, designed for single-pole or 3-way wiring configurations. It features a SureSlide slider mechanism that lets the installer set a preferred fan speed, which the built-in preset ON/OFF switch then recalls automatically each time the circuit is switched on. The control suits residential and light-commercial ceiling fan installations where quiet, repeatable speed selection is a priority. It ships in a package quantity of 10 units and has a total package weight of 3.04 pounds.

This fan speed control is well suited for spaces where ceiling fan noise is a concern, including libraries, study rooms, bedrooms, and offices. The preset speed feature eliminates the need to manually readjust the slider each time the fan is turned on, making it a practical choice for both new construction and retrofit installations in standard single-gang wall boxes.

Key Features

• Preset ON/OFF switch recalls the last-set speed automatically
• Decora-style form factor fits standard single-gang decorator wall plates
• White finish for broad residential and light-commercial compatibility
• Sold in a package quantity of 10 units for contractor convenience

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fan speed control for standard residential and light-commercial ceiling fan circuits requiring a 3-way or single-pole Decora-format wall control.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit at the breaker panel and verify voltage is absent with a non-contact tester before wiring. This control is intended for ceiling fan motors only and must not be used to control incandescent, fluorescent, or LED lighting loads. Confirm the fan motor is rated for use with a wall speed control before installing.
