The LEVITON 8756-2 is a keyless incandescent lampholder built for high-wattage lamp installations requiring a mogul base socket. Constructed from one-piece glazed porcelain, this lampholder accepts E39 mogul base lamps up to 1500 watts and is rated for 600 volts across a single circuit. The terminal connects via a 14 AWG 12-inch SEW-2-wire lead, and contacts are nickel-plated copper alloy for reliable conductivity. Mounting is accomplished with two 8-32 TPI screws. The unit carries UL and CSA approvals and is listed with a 4 KV pulse rating, making it appropriate for demanding commercial and industrial lighting applications. A 1-year limited warranty is included.

Installation Notes
