Leviton 80301-SA Screwless Snap-on Wall Plate

Product Description

The LEVITON 80301-SA is a screwless, snap-on wall plate from the Decora Plus line, designed for residential and light commercial electrical installations. The tool-free snap-on design eliminates visible fasteners for a clean, finished appearance on outlet, switch, and decorator-style device openings. Licensed electricians and skilled DIYers install this plate as the final cover step after device wiring is complete. The plate is built for durability under repeated contact and is compatible with standard decorator-style devices. Its slim profile sits flush against the wall surface for a neat, professional result.

The 80301-SA suits residential interior applications including living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and hallways where a clean wall finish is a priority. It is appropriate for new construction and retrofit work alike. The screwless design is particularly useful in high-visibility areas where exposed screw heads would detract from the finished look. Electricians working on full-room device upgrades often use this plate to maintain a consistent, coordinated appearance across outlets and switches throughout the space.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed electrician or qualified installer as the final step in device finish work. Always turn off power at the circuit breaker before servicing any electrical device the plate will cover. The snap-on design requires no tools for plate attachment, but underlying device installation must comply with applicable NEC requirements. Do not force the plate if alignment feels off, as the snap tabs can crack under excessive lateral pressure.
