The LENOX 93304RPB123810 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications. Measuring 150 inches in length and 1-1/4 inches wide with a 0.042-inch thickness, this blade is built on a spring steel back with M42 high speed steel teeth. The variable pitch design, running 5 to 8 TPI with a Vari-Raker tooth set, reduces vibration and harmonics during cuts, which helps extend blade life and improves surface finish on a range of workpiece profiles. It is part of the LENOX RX Plus series. Licensed metalworking technicians, fabricators, and machine operators working with horizontal or vertical band saws install and use this blade in production and maintenance shop environments.
This blade is suited for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous metals, structural shapes, solids, and bundled stock in both production and job-shop settings. The variable pitch tooth form is particularly effective on materials with varying cross-sections, where a fixed-pitch blade would tend to chatter. The positive rake angle promotes aggressive, efficient cutting. No contour cutting is supported; this blade is designed for straight-line production cuts on powered band saw machines.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit blade for powered band saw machines accepting a 150-inch blade length and 1-1/4-inch blade width.
Band saw blade installation and tensioning should be performed by qualified machine operators or metalworking technicians following the band saw manufacturer's tension and tracking specifications. Always power down and lock out the machine before removing or installing a blade. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled or uncoiled bandsaw blades, as edges are sharp. Verify wheel guide clearances and blade guides are properly set for 1-1/4-inch blade width before operation.
