The LENOX 87902CLB113505 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in industrial and fabrication environments. Measuring 11 feet 6 inches in length, 1 inch wide, and 0.035 inches thick, this blade features a variable pitch tooth pattern ranging from 6 to 10 TPI for efficient chip clearing across a range of material thicknesses. The cutting edge is constructed from M42 high speed steel teeth bonded to a spring steel back, delivering heat resistance and flex life through continuous cutting cycles. Installation is handled by maintenance technicians and metal fabrication professionals operating horizontal or vertical bandsaw equipment.
This blade is suited for production and job-shop environments where a single blade must handle diverse metal stock. The variable pitch design reduces harmonic vibration and noise, making it effective on alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The Vari-Raker tooth set promotes consistent chip evacuation and helps extend blade life when cutting solid bar, tubing, or structural shapes. It is sold individually and is part of the LENOX Classic series.
Designed as a replacement bandsaw blade for horizontal and vertical bandsaws accepting an 11 foot 6 inch blade length with a 1 inch blade width. Compatible material applications include alloy steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metal, carbon steel, stainless steel, structural steel, and tool steel.
Blade installation should be performed by a qualified technician with the saw fully de-energized and all stored energy released before opening the blade housing. Verify wheel tracking and blade tension according to the saw manufacturer specifications before resuming operation. Inspect blade guides and thrust bearings for wear any time a blade is replaced. Always wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled or uncoiled bandsaw blades.
