The LENOX 1772371 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in professional shop and field environments. Measuring 16 feet 6 inches in length and 1-1/4 inches wide at 0.042 inches thick, this blade operates at a variable pitch of 4 to 6 TPI. The M42+ high speed steel tooth material and QXP series designation indicate a blade built for high-cycle cutting of tough materials. The Vari-Raker tooth set and positive rake angle work together to produce efficient chip evacuation and consistent cut quality across a wide range of metal stock profiles.
This blade is suited for use on horizontal and vertical metal-cutting bandsaws in fabrication shops, tool rooms, and maintenance environments. The variable pitch and Vari-Raker tooth geometry make it effective across a broad material range, including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and titanium. It is not intended for contour cutting applications. Typical users include machinists, fabricators, and maintenance technicians cutting structural stock, bar stock, and tubing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement welded bandsaw blade for metal-cutting bandsaw machines accepting a 1-1/4 inch wide blade in the 16 foot 6 inch loop length.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician familiar with bandsaw blade tensioning and tracking procedures. Power down and lock out the bandsaw fully before removing the old blade or mounting the new one. Verify wheel guards and blade guides are properly adjusted to the blade width before returning the machine to service. Consult the bandsaw manufacturer's specifications for correct tension settings for a 1-1/4 inch bi-metal blade.
