The LEGRIS 3199 14 17 is a push-to-connect 90-degree male elbow tube fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. It accepts tubing with a 14mm outside diameter and connects to a 3/8-inch BSPP male thread. The body combines glass-reinforced nylon with nickel-plated brass internal components, supporting a maximum working pressure of 290 psi and a vacuum rating of 28 in-Hg. The nitrile O-ring seals the connection across a wide temperature range. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians install this fitting in compressed air lines, fluid transfer circuits, and related low-to-medium-pressure applications.
This fitting suits residential and light commercial pneumatic systems where a right-angle change of direction is needed between flexible tubing and a threaded port. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast, tool-free tube insertion, which speeds up installation in panel assemblies, manifold setups, and equipment cabinets. The BSPP thread type makes it compatible with metric and British-standard threaded ports commonly found on imported equipment, pneumatic cylinders, and control valves. The glass-reinforced nylon body resists corrosion and keeps weight low.
Designed for use with 14mm outside diameter push-to-connect tubing and 3/8-inch BSPP male-threaded ports in pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. Meets standards including ISO 14743, EU directive 2011/65/EC, REACH (DI: 1907/2006), RoHS (DI: 2002/95/EC), and PED (DI: 97/23/EC).
Shut down and fully depressurize the system before removing or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Hand-tighten the BSPP threaded end into the port and apply appropriate thread sealant per the system manufacturer and applicable plumbing or pneumatic codes. To insert tubing, push firmly into the collet until it seats; to release, depress the collet ring and pull the tube straight out. Inspect the nitrile O-ring for damage before installation and confirm the tube end is cut square and free of burrs.
