The LEGRIS 3189 06 13 is a push-to-connect oscillating male elbow tube fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid-conveyance systems where a right-angle connection with rotational adjustment is required. The fitting accepts 6 mm outside-diameter tubing on the push-to-connect end and terminates with a 1/4 inch BSPP male thread on the other. The body is molded from nylon with a nitrile O-ring seal, making it well-suited for air lines and compatible fluid systems. Maximum rated working pressure is 290 psi. The oscillating feature allows the threaded end to pivot after installation, reducing stress on the tubing and simplifying routing in tight assemblies.
This fitting is used in industrial and light-commercial pneumatic plumbing, machine tool lines, and compressed-air distribution systems where metric tubing connects to BSPP-ported equipment or manifolds. The 1/4 inch BSPP thread is a British Standard Parallel Pipe form, commonly found on European and international pneumatic valves, cylinders, and fittings. Installation is performed by pneumatic system technicians and maintenance mechanics in manufacturing, automation, and general industrial service environments.
Designed for use with 6 mm outside-diameter pneumatic tubing in systems equipped with 1/4 inch BSPP-ported valves, cylinders, and manifolds. No specific model or system compatibility data was provided by the manufacturer for this SKU.
Depressurize and isolate the pneumatic circuit completely before removing or installing any fitting. Thread the BSPP male end into the mating port by hand first, then tighten with an appropriate wrench, taking care not to over-torque the nylon body. Insert tubing into the push-to-connect collet until it bottoms out, then give a slight tug to confirm retention. Verify the line at working pressure before returning the system to service.
