The LEGRIS 3175 08 11 is a push-to-connect tube-to-male-NPT connector fitting designed for fast, tool-free tube connections in pneumatic and fluid-transfer systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, this straight connector accepts 5/16 inch outside diameter tubing on one end and threads into a 1/8 inch male NPT port on the other. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 290 psi and handles temperatures from -4 degrees F to 175 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of compressed-air and light hydraulic plumbing applications. Licensed tradespeople and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this fitting type.
This fitting is used in residential and commercial pneumatic systems, fluid-transfer lines, and equipment panels where a secure, leak-resistant connection between tubing and a male NPT threaded port is required. The push-to-connect mechanism allows tubing to be inserted and locked without ferrules, compression sleeves, or additional tooling, speeding up assembly and service work. It is a common choice for control systems, solenoid valve manifolds, and instrument-air plumbing wherever 5/16 inch OD tubing terminates at a 1/8 inch NPT threaded component.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install push-to-connect connector for pneumatic and fluid-transfer systems using 5/16 inch OD tubing and 1/8 inch NPT threaded ports.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or qualified industrial maintenance technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure the tubing cut is clean and square, and that the tube OD is free of burrs or deformation before inserting into the fitting. Follow applicable plumbing codes and manufacturer torque guidelines for the NPT threaded side to prevent thread damage or leaks.
