The LEGRIS 3109 56 10 is a push-to-connect male elbow tube fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid transfer lines that require a 90-degree directional change. The body is constructed from nylon and features a nitrile O-ring for reliable sealing. It accepts 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing on the push-to-connect end and connects to a 1/8 inch BSPT male threaded port on the other. Rated to 290 psi, this fitting is suitable for compressed air and compatible fluid systems. Plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians install this type of fitting where space constraints call for a compact elbow connection.
This fitting is suited for use in light industrial, commercial, and trade pneumatic plumbing applications where quick-connect tube fittings are specified. The push-to-connect mechanism allows for tool-free tube insertion, reducing installation time on manifolds, control panels, and air distribution systems. The BSPT thread type is common in international and import equipment as well as select domestic pneumatic assemblies.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement or new-installation elbow fitting for pneumatic systems using 1/4 inch OD tubing and 1/8 inch BSPT male threaded ports.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or pneumatic system technician. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure the tube end is cut square, deburred, and clean before insertion into the push-to-connect collet to achieve a proper seal. Verify that the receiving port thread type is BSPT before installation, as BSPT and NPT threads are not interchangeable.
