The LEGEND VALVE 113-104 is a standard manual ball valve designed for full-flow isolation service in plumbing, hydronic, and mechanical piping systems. Built from 316 stainless steel with a reinforced PTFE seat, it handles demanding applications where corrosion resistance and cycle durability matter. The large port design minimizes pressure drop across the valve. A locking lever handle prevents accidental operation in high-traffic mechanical rooms or wherever tamper resistance is required. This valve is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters working on commercial and industrial systems as well as residential mechanical applications.
The 113-104 is suited for use in water supply, hydronic heating and cooling, light industrial fluid handling, and general plumbing piping where a 3/4 inch threaded isolation point is needed. The female NPT connections on both ends allow straightforward threaded installation into standard iron pipe or compatible fittings. The two-piece body construction simplifies field inspection and maintenance. Its stainless steel construction makes it a practical choice in environments where carbon steel components would be vulnerable to corrosion.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation manual ball valve for 3/4 inch FNPT threaded piping systems in plumbing and mechanical applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with local plumbing codes and the applicable edition of the IPC. Shut off system pressure and drain the line before removing an existing valve or making threaded connections. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to male NPT threads per standard practice — do not overtighten, as this can crack fittings. Verify flow direction and confirm the valve is in the fully open or fully closed position before returning the system to service.
