The LDI INDUSTRIES G607-05-A-1-2 is a closed-circuit liquid level sight gauge designed for monitoring fluid levels in pressurized systems. It features a 3.5-inch sight length and is rated to 290 psi maximum working pressure, making it suited for demanding hydraulic, lubrication, and process fluid applications. The gauge ships with a pipe adapter and uses a Buna-N seal for compatibility with common petroleum-based and water-based fluids. The aluminum housing keeps weight low while providing adequate corrosion resistance for most indoor and light industrial environments. Installation is straightforward for experienced plumbing and mechanical contractors familiar with NPTF-threaded fittings.
This sight gauge is used in closed-circuit fluid systems where direct visual confirmation of liquid level is required without opening the system. Typical applications include hydraulic power units, lubrication reservoirs, industrial machinery, and HVAC or process piping where a low-profile visual indicator is preferred. The included pipe adapter allows direct mounting to standard NPTF pipe connections without additional hardware in most installations. Overall length measures 6.625 inches, with 5 inches from the end to the center of the base for layout reference.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation sight gauge for closed-circuit fluid systems using 1/4-18 NPTF threaded pipe connections rated within the 290 psi working pressure range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumbing or mechanical technician. Depressurize and drain the system fully before removing any existing sight gauge or fitting. Use thread sealant rated for the system fluid type and apply to the male threads per standard practice. Do not over-tighten the aluminum housing, as it can crack under excessive torque. Verify the Buna-N seal is compatible with the system fluid before commissioning.
