The LARSEN SUPPLY CO., INC. 32-1905 is a Type 304 stainless steel pipe nipple designed to connect or extend pipe runs and fittings in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems. It measures 0.75 inches in diameter by 2 inches in length and features male pipe thread (NPT) on both ends. Rated at 150 LB, this nipple meets lead-free product requirements, making it suitable for potable water and general-service piping applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the typical installers. The Type 304 stainless construction provides solid corrosion resistance for wet, damp, or mildly corrosive environments.
This nipple is used in residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC piping where a short, threaded extension or connection is needed between two fittings, valves, or pipe sections. The 0.75-inch nominal size is common in supply lines, boiler piping, hydronic heating loops, and industrial process lines. Packaged in a carded clam shell, it is sold in units of 6, making it practical for service vans and job-site stock. Its lead-free rating supports compliance with safe drinking water standards in potable water installations.
Designed as a standard 0.75-inch NPT threaded pipe nipple for use with compatible 150 LB-rated stainless steel or similarly rated pipe fittings, valves, and couplings in residential and commercial plumbing and HVAC piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with the applicable plumbing code, such as the IPC or local equivalent. Shut off and depressurize the supply line and drain any standing water before removing or installing threaded fittings. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly to ensure a leak-free joint. Do not overtighten threaded connections on stainless steel fittings, as galling of the threads can occur.
