The KYOCERA TLC06066 is a replaceable carbide drill tip designed for use with the DRA series indexable drill system. It features a 0.3660-inch (9.00 mm) cutting diameter, a 140-degree drill point angle, and a solid carbide construction with MEGACOAT NANO PVD coating. Manufactured to Grade PR1535 with an M-GM insert geometry, this tip is built for productive drilling in steel and stainless steel applications. The tip seats into an Insert Seat Size 90 holder using a screw-clamping method, making tip replacement fast and repeatable without removing the drill body from the machine.

This drill tip is intended for drilling operations in ferrous workpiece materials, primarily steel and stainless steel, with secondary capability in cast iron. It fits into the DRA series drill body system and is suited for CNC machining environments in both production and job-shop settings. The regular spiral, two-flute helical design promotes chip evacuation during through-material drilling. Licensed machinists and CNC operators in metal fabrication, precision machining, and industrial manufacturing are the typical end users. Coolant-through is not supported by this tip style.
