The Knipex 13728SBA is a forged wire stripper designed for various wire cutting tasks. It effectively strips solid and stranded wires from ten to twenty American Wire Gauge (AWG). This tool cuts screws sized six to thirty-two and eight to thirty-two without threading. The design includes locating ridges that make it easy to find stripping holes. The shear cutting blades provide a cutting capacity fifty percent higher than competing products while reducing the required cutting power by twenty-five percent. Additional features include a wire looping groove for connecting to screws and a conduit reaming capability for removing burrs. The handles are ergonomically designed to be used left or right-handed.
