The KLEIN TOOLS 662 is a No. 2 square recess (Robertson) screwdriver built for electricians, plumbers, and general tradespeople who drive square-drive fasteners day in and day out. The shank is chrome-plated tempered steel with a black-finished tip for corrosion resistance and long service life. The cushion-grip handle provides torque control and reduces hand fatigue during extended use. The round shank profile allows use with a wrench for added turning force when fasteners are stubborn. This screwdriver is sized for No. 8, No. 9, and No. 10 square-drive screws and meets ANSI and MIL specifications.
The 662 is suited for residential and light commercial electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work wherever square-drive fasteners are specified. Electricians commonly encounter square-drive screws in panel covers, device boxes, and fixture mounting hardware. The cushion-grip handle and round shank design make this tool practical for tight spaces as well as high-torque applications where a wrench over the shank is needed.
Designed for use with No. 8, No. 9, and No. 10 square-drive (Robertson) fasteners in general electrical, plumbing, and mechanical trade applications.
Always de-energize circuits and follow lockout/tagout procedures before driving fasteners near electrical components. Use the round shank wrench feature only with an appropriately sized open-end or adjustable wrench to avoid shank damage. Inspect the tip before use and replace the tool if the tip shows rounding or wear that could strip fastener heads.
