The KLEENGUARD 97434 is an ANSI Cut Level A3 cut-resistant glove designed for trade and industrial applications where hand protection against sharp edges and abrasion is required. The glove features a nitrile dot coating on the palm and fingertips for grip retention on dry and lightly oily surfaces, with a fiberglass-lined, polyethylene shell construction. Overall length is 9.5 inches. The knit cuff and ambidextrous design allow fast deployment across a crew. Packaged as 12 gloves per pack (6 pairs), these are worn by electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general maintenance workers handling sheet metal, conduit, pipe, and other cut-hazard materials.
These gloves fit standard industrial and trade work environments — residential and light commercial service calls, fabrication shops, and mechanical rooms. The ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A3 rating and ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 3 rating make them appropriate for tasks involving sheet metal handling, ductwork installation, conduit bending, and pipe fitting where moderate cut risk is present. The smooth nitrile dot coating maintains tactile sensitivity while providing a reliable grip. The breathable UHMWPE fiber construction reduces hand fatigue during extended wear.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-purchase cut-resistant glove for trade professionals requiring ANSI A3-rated hand protection in size 2X-Large (equivalent to Women's 3X-Large).
Cut-resistant gloves are donned before handling any sharp or abrasive materials; inspect each glove for tears or coating separation before each use. These gloves do not provide electrical arc flash or high-voltage insulation protection — use appropriate rated insulating gloves for live electrical work per NFPA 70E requirements. Dispose of gloves when the coating shows visible wear or the liner is compromised. Store away from direct sunlight and chemical exposure to preserve coating integrity.
