The KLEENGUARD 47999 is a microporous film coverall designed for general-purpose protection against non-hazardous dry particulates, liquid splash, and liquid spray. Built with a full-length zipper closure, elastic cuffs, and elastic ankles, this coverall provides a secure fit that limits exposure at entry points. The hood offers additional head and neck coverage. Serged seams run throughout the garment for consistent construction. At 1.5 pounds per unit, the coverall is lightweight enough for extended wear during maintenance, cleanup, or inspection tasks. This garment meets ASTM F1670 standards and also protects against blood-borne pathogens, making it appropriate for environments with biological hazard risk.
The 47999 is suited for industrial, commercial, and institutional applications where workers face incidental contact with non-hazardous liquids or particulate contamination. Typical install and use scenarios include janitorial services, light chemical handling, facility maintenance, laboratory support, and remediation work. The 3X-Large sizing accommodates larger body frames and can also be worn over standard work clothing or light underlayers. Each package contains 25 coveralls, making it practical for stocking safety supplies for crews or ongoing job sites.
Designed as a general-purpose disposable coverall for workers in industrial, commercial, and institutional environments requiring protection from non-hazardous dry particulates, liquid splash, and liquid spray.
Coveralls should be donned in a clean staging area before entering the work zone to avoid contaminating the garment exterior during wear. Inspect the garment for tears or defects before each use. Remove by rolling the coverall outward during doffing to contain any surface contamination, and dispose of according to site waste protocols. Follow applicable OSHA PPE requirements and site safety plans when selecting and using protective garments.
