The KLEENGUARD 38642 is a cut-resistant work glove rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A2 and designed for trade and industrial environments where hand protection against sharp edges, sheet metal, glass, or light-duty cutting hazards is required. The glove features a 15-gauge HPPE liner for lightweight cut resistance and a polyurethane dip coating covering the palm, fingers, and knuckles. The smooth polyurethane grip surface performs well on dry and light-contact tasks. The knit cuff provides a secure, comfortable fit. This glove is sold as a pair and is suitable for electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general tradespeople who handle components with exposed edges during installation or service work.
The 38642 is suited for light to medium-duty hand protection tasks in residential and commercial trade applications. Typical uses include handling sheet metal ductwork, conduit, copper pipe, glass panels, and other materials with sharp or abrasive edges. The glove is unisex and sized Small, which also corresponds to a Women's X-Small sizing. The gray and yellow colorway allows easy visual identification on the job. ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 2 adds durability against surface wear during repetitive handling tasks. Each pack contains 12 pairs.
Designed as an OEM-matched replacement or standard-stock cut-resistant glove for trade professionals requiring ANSI Cut Level A2 hand protection in light to medium-duty service and installation tasks. Compliant with ANSI/ISEA and EN388 cut and abrasion resistance standards.
Gloves should be inspected before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that could reduce protection. These gloves do not provide electrical insulation and must not be used as a substitute for rated insulating gloves when working on or near energized circuits. They are not rated as blood-borne pathogen barriers or static-dissipative PPE. Always select glove size and cut level in accordance with your site safety plan and applicable OSHA PPE requirements.
