The KIPP K0270.2A31X60 is an adjustable clamping handle with a threaded stud mount, designed for secure hand-tightening applications in industrial, mechanical, and light fabrication settings. The handle body is molded from fiberglass-reinforced plastic and delivers a rigid, lightweight grip. The threaded stud and all metal components are stainless steel to AISI 303 specification, providing corrosion resistance in wash-down or outdoor-exposed environments. The stud measures 2.36 inches in length with a 5/16-18 thread, and the handle arm extends 2.56 inches in radius with a 20-degree arm angle for ergonomic torque application. Maintenance technicians, machine builders, and equipment fabricators are the typical installers.
This clamping handle fits a wide range of threaded-stud mounting applications where a positive, repeatable hand-clamp is required. It is suited for jigs, fixtures, enclosures, access panels, and machine guards. The black fiberglass-reinforced body resists impact and chemical exposure, making it appropriate for both indoor production environments and exposed outdoor equipment. The bright-finish stainless steel stud is compatible with standard 5/16-18 threaded inserts and tapped holes commonly found in aluminum extrusion systems, steel weldments, and OEM machinery frames.
Designed for use with any application accepting a 5/16-18 threaded stud mount, including aluminum extrusion framing systems, machine enclosures, jigs, and fixtures requiring a hand-adjustable clamping handle.
Installation requires a tapped 5/16-18 hole or compatible threaded insert in the mating component. Power down or de-energize any equipment before installing or adjusting clamping handles on live machinery. Standard hand tools are sufficient for assembly. Verify that the stud engagement depth meets the minimum thread engagement requirements for the base material to ensure a secure clamp.
