The KILLARK GECLBT-1 is an LB-type conduit body designed for use in electrical raceway systems where a 90-degree change of direction is required. This fitting allows conductors to be pulled through the conduit run and provides access for wire pulling, splicing, or inspection at the junction point. At 1/2 inch trade size, it is suited for use in standard 1/2-inch conduit installations. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors typically install this fitting in both commercial and industrial applications where a durable, code-compliant conduit body is required.
The GECLBT-1 is used in 1/2-inch conduit systems requiring a back-entry, bottom-exit LB configuration. It is appropriate for indoor and outdoor electrical installations depending on the enclosure rating, and is commonly found in panel feeds, branch circuit runs, and service entrance work. The 1/2-inch trade size makes it a standard choice for branch circuit and control wiring applications across residential, commercial, and light industrial environments.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for use with standard 1/2-inch electrical metallic tubing or rigid conduit raceway systems in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before opening any conduit body or pulling conductors. Ensure the conduit body cover is properly seated and fastened after conductor installation to maintain the enclosure integrity. Do not exceed the conduit body fill capacity as defined by NEC Chapter 9 tables.
