The KEYSTONE THREADED PRODUCTS KB012AC1D182865 is a Grade B7 alloy steel threaded rod with a 3/4-10 ACME thread profile and a 6-foot overall length. It features a right-hand, single-start thread cut to a 2C fit class with a Precision ACME Vernier reading. Grade B7 alloy steel delivers high tensile strength and is well suited to demanding load-bearing and fastening applications. This rod is used in mechanical assemblies, structural connections, and industrial equipment where a coarse ACME thread is required for efficient power transmission or heavy clamping force. Mechanical contractors, millwrights, pipefitters, and general industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this type of hardware.
This threaded rod is appropriate for use in applications that require the ACME thread form, including lead-screw assemblies, actuator mechanisms, clamp fixtures, jigs, and structural tie-rod installations. The 2C fit class provides a standard running clearance suitable for the majority of general ACME power-transmission applications. The 6-foot length allows field cutting to required dimensions with standard cutting tools. It is commonly used in HVAC equipment bases, pipe support structures, and industrial frame assemblies where Grade B7 material properties are specified.
Designed as a standard-form ACME threaded rod for mechanical assemblies, structural tie-rod applications, and industrial equipment requiring a 3/4-10 thread size in Grade B7 alloy steel.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or tradesperson familiar with threaded fastener applications and applicable load requirements. Cut to length using appropriate thread-capable cutting tools and deburr cut ends before assembly. Verify that mating nuts or threaded components are rated for ACME 2C fit class before installation. Follow applicable structural or mechanical codes for torque and load specifications governing the specific application.
