The KEYSTONE KTEB-332-UV-IS-N-P is a 3-lamp electronic fluorescent ballast designed for T8 linear fluorescent lamps including F17T8, F25T8, and F32T8 types. It operates on a wide input voltage range of 120 to 277 VAC at 50/60 Hz, making it suitable for both standard and multi-voltage commercial wiring. The instant-start circuit type delivers immediate lamp ignition without preheating, while the high power factor (HPF) design keeps power factor at 0.90. A ballast factor of 0.88 to 0.91 provides reliable, consistent lamp output. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers of this component.
This ballast is suited for commercial and light industrial fluorescent lighting fixtures requiring a universal-voltage, multi-lamp driver. Typical applications include troffer fixtures, strip lights, and wraparound luminaires in office, retail, warehouse, and educational settings. The parallel wiring configuration means remaining lamps continue to operate if one lamp fails. The minimum starting temperature of -18 degrees C (0 degrees F) supports use in cold storage or unheated spaces. Compatible lamp types include F17T8, F25T8, F32T8, F40T8, and PLL configurations per supplier data, and the ballast supports 2 or 3 lamp configurations.
Compatible with F17T8, F25T8, F32T8, F40T8, and PLL fluorescent lamp types. Supports 2 or 3 lamp configurations. Rated for use in fixtures wired at 120 to 277 VAC. Meets ANSI C82.11 and C62.41 applicable standards.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit at the breaker and verify absence of voltage before removing the existing ballast or making any wiring connections. Confirm lamp type and quantity match the ballast ratings before powering the fixture. The steel case should be mounted securely to the fixture channel using the 9-inch mounting dimension to ensure proper thermal contact and mechanical support.
