The KEO 950-001-025 is a side chip saw designed for metal cutting applications in machine shop and industrial environments. The blade measures 6 inches in diameter with a 1/8 inch thickness and a 1 inch arbor hole, making it compatible with standard horizontal and vertical milling setups. Constructed from high speed steel (HSS) with a bright uncoated finish, the saw features 40 staggered teeth arranged for efficient chip clearance and smooth side cutting. This tool is installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals performing slotting, slitting, and side milling operations.
This side chip saw is suited for metal cutting in production and job-shop environments. The staggered tooth configuration reduces cutting forces and helps evacuate chips during side milling and slotting passes. A right-hand cutting direction and 10-degree rake angle make it appropriate for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It mounts via arbor connection on standard milling machine spindles and arbors sized to accept a 1 inch bore.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use side chip saw for standard milling machine arbor setups accepting a 1 inch bore diameter.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists on horizontal or vertical milling machines. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or removing the saw blade. Secure the blade firmly on the arbor with the appropriate spacers and nut before operation. Verify spindle speed against the recommended surface footage for the material being cut before starting the cut.
