The KEO 919-001-036 is a single-end solid carbide countersink designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations in metalworking and fabrication environments. It features a 90-degree included angle and six flutes, producing clean, chatter-resistant entry chamfers in a wide range of workpiece materials. The 3/16-inch head diameter and matching 3/16-inch shank diameter make it compatible with standard collet chucks and drill presses used in machine shops, tool rooms, and production lines. At 2 inches overall length and weighing 0.01 pounds, it is compact and suited for light-duty precision work. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and production operators are the primary users.
This countersink is used in applications requiring consistent chamfer geometry on drilled holes before fastener seating or surface finishing. It is well suited for deburring through-holes and blind holes in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as plastics and composites that respond well to carbide tooling. The single-end configuration keeps the tool profile compact for use in confined setups or short-reach collet holders. It is commonly deployed on CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, drill presses, and lathe turrets where a 3/16-inch chamfer envelope is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide countersink for machine shop and production environments requiring a 3/16-inch, 90-degree single-end tool with a 3/16-inch shank.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians familiar with rotating cutting tool safety. Secure the shank firmly in a collet chuck or drill chuck rated for the intended spindle speed before operation. Always power down and lock out the machine before changing or inspecting tooling. Do not exceed the recommended speed and feed parameters specified by the machine manufacturer for carbide countersinks of this diameter.
