The KEO 919-000-565 is a single-flute cobalt steel countersink designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations on metal workpieces. It features a 1-1/4 inch head diameter with a 60-degree included angle, making it well suited for producing clean, accurate countersunk holes in ferrous and hard materials where high-speed steel tooling may wear prematurely. The 1/2 inch shank diameter provides a secure grip in standard drill chucks or toolholders, and the 3-inch overall length gives adequate reach for most machine tool setups. Machinists, toolmakers, and metalworking professionals will find this tool appropriate for both bench drill press and milling machine applications.
This countersink is intended for use in metalworking environments where cobalt steel construction is preferred for extended tool life in tougher or harder materials. Typical applications include chamfering bolt holes, preparing seats for flat-head fasteners, and deburring drilled holes on ferrous stock, alloy steel, and similar materials. The single-flute design reduces chatter and improves surface finish in hand-held and machine-driven setups alike. It is appropriate for job shop, maintenance, and production floor use.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use countersink tool compatible with standard 1/2 inch drill chucks, collet holders, and toolholding systems used in bench drill presses, milling machines, and CNC machining centers.
This tool is installed and operated by machinists and metalworking professionals. Secure the shank firmly in a 1/2 inch drill chuck or collet before use, and ensure the spindle is fully stopped before changing tooling. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and wear appropriate eye protection whenever operating rotary cutting tools. Do not exceed the recommended speed range for the material being machined.
