The KEO 919-000-561 is a single-flute cobalt steel countersink designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations in metal fabrication and machining applications. It features a 3/4 inch head diameter with a 60-degree included angle, providing a precise seat for fastener heads in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The cobalt steel construction delivers heat and wear resistance suited for production environments where tool life matters. With a 1/2 inch shank diameter and an overall length of 2.625 inches, it mounts directly in standard drill chucks, collets, or countersink holders without adapters.
This countersink is used in machine shop, manufacturing, and maintenance-repair-operations (MRO) settings where accurate chamfer angles are required. It is appropriate for use in drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power drills when a stable workholding setup is in place. The 60-degree included angle is a common specification for aerospace-style fastener seats and general-purpose metal countersinking. Machinists, toolmakers, and maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this tool type.
Designed as an OEM-style single-flute countersink compatible with standard 1/2 inch drill chucks, ER collet systems, and countersink holders used in drill presses and machining centers.
Secure the workpiece firmly before operation to prevent tool deflection and maintain chamfer accuracy. Ensure the shank is fully seated and the chuck or collet is tightened to the tool holder manufacturer's specification before engaging the spindle. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to extend tool life and improve finish quality. Inspect the cutting edge for wear before each use, as a dull edge on a single-flute tool can cause chatter and inaccurate chamfer angles.
