The KEO 919-000-244 is a single-end cobalt steel countersink designed for countersinking and deburring operations in light-duty machining and fabrication work. With a 3/4 inch head diameter and a 100 degree included angle, this tool produces clean, consistent chamfered entries in holes ranging from 13/64 inch to 45/64 inch cutting diameter. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 3/8 inch in diameter, making it compatible with standard drill presses, CNC machines, and handheld power tools. Its right-hand cutting direction suits conventional rotating spindle setups. The cobalt steel construction provides improved heat resistance compared to standard high-speed steel, supporting use in abrasive or moderately tough material applications.
This countersink is suited for use on aluminum, plastics, and other non-metallic materials where smooth chamfering and controlled deburring are required. It is a single-end tool with no pilot, meaning the operator or setup controls hole alignment. Typical applications include pre-drilling for flat-head fasteners, edge breaking on drilled holes, and light deburring on sheet goods or plate stock. Machinists, fabricators, and maintenance technicians commonly use this style of countersink in both job shop and production environments.
Designed for countersinking and deburring in aluminum, non-metallic materials, and plastics. Fits any drill press, CNC spindle, or power tool accepting a 3/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Secure the 3/8 inch shank firmly in the chuck or collet before operation. Power down and de-energize the machine completely before changing or inspecting the tool. Use appropriate cutting speeds for the material being worked - cobalt steel tolerates higher heat than standard HSS but is not rated for hardened steel in this single-end configuration. Eye protection and appropriate chip management practices should be observed whenever countersinking operations are in progress.
