The KEO 919-000-077 is a single-flute countersink designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations in metal fabrication and general machining work. Built from high-speed steel, it delivers consistent cutting performance across a range of materials. The tool features a 1/4 inch head diameter, a 100-degree included angle, and a straight-cylindrical 1/4 inch shank for secure chuck engagement. The right-hand cutting direction suits standard drill press and CNC spindle setups. Machinists, tool and die workers, and maintenance technicians typically reach for this countersink when prepping fastener seats or breaking sharp edges on drilled holes.
This countersink fits into standard drill chucks, collet holders, and quick-change tooling systems that accept a 1/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. The 100-degree included angle is well suited for chamfering holes that will seat flat-head or oval-head fasteners ground to that angle, and for general deburring passes on ferrous and non-ferrous stock. The single-flute design produces a clean, chatter-resistant cut, making it practical for hand-held electric drills as well as stationary drill presses and milling machine spindles in light production or maintenance environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use countersink for any tooling setup that accepts a 1/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank, including drill presses, milling machines, and hand-held electric drills.
Installation is performed by machinists or maintenance technicians familiar with rotating cutting tools. Secure the shank firmly in the chuck or collet before operation and verify the spindle is fully stopped before tool changes. Always operate within the recommended RPM range for the workpiece material and tool diameter. Wear appropriate eye protection and ensure the workpiece is clamped securely to prevent movement during the cut.
