The KEO 907-000-177 is a combination drill and countersink designed for simultaneous drilling and countersinking in a single operation. Built from high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, this tool features a 5/8 inch body diameter, a 1/4 inch drill point diameter, and a 118-degree drill point angle paired with a 90-degree included countersink angle. At 6 inches overall length, it qualifies as a long-length tool, giving machinists and metalworkers additional reach in deeper setups. Right-hand cutting direction and a plain cutting edge style make it compatible with standard drill presses, lathes, and CNC machining centers used in metal fabrication and toolroom work.
This combo drill countersink is suited for trade size 7 applications in metal fabrication shops, maintenance and repair operations, and production machining environments. The double-end style extends usable tool life by providing two cutting ends. The 1/4 inch drill point length and 90-degree countersink angle prepare holes to accept flat-head fasteners flush with the workpiece surface, a common requirement in structural and mechanical assembly. It is not an aircraft-style tool and is not tapered, making it a straightforward general-purpose countersinking solution for ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Designed as a general-purpose combo drill countersink for use in standard drill presses, lathes, and CNC machining centers where trade size 7 countersinking in metal workpieces is required.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom professional. Secure the tool firmly in an appropriate chuck or collet and verify runout before use. Always power down and lock out the machine before changing tooling. Follow applicable shop safety standards and the machine manufacturer guidelines for speed and feed settings appropriate to the workpiece material.
