The KEO 907-000-112 is a combination drill and countersink tool designed to drill a pilot hole and form a countersink recess in a single pass. Machined from high-speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, it delivers consistent cutting performance on ferrous and non-ferrous materials without the added cost of a coating. The tool features a 5/16-inch body diameter, a 1/8-inch drill point, an 82-degree included angle for the countersink, and a 118-degree drill point angle. At 4 inches overall length, it is classified as a long-length tool. Right-hand cutting direction suits standard drill press and CNC setups. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and fabricators use this style of tool to prepare fastener seats in a single operation.
This combo drill countersink is suited for countersinking applications in metal fabrication, maintenance machining, and light production work. The double-end style and plain cutting edge make it a straightforward replacement or stock tool for shops that work with trade size 4 fastener holes. It is not aircraft-style and is not tapered, making it appropriate for general countersinking rather than specialized aerospace or Morse-taper work. The long-length design provides added reach for workpieces where a standard-length tool cannot access the bore.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or stock combo drill countersink for shops requiring trade size 4 combination drill countersink tooling in standard drill press, lathe, or CNC machining center setups.
This tool is installed in a standard drill chuck or collet rated for its 5/16-inch body diameter. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped before changing or inspecting the tool. Verify chuck runout is within acceptable limits before use, as excess runout accelerates wear on combination tools. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and manufacturer feed-and-speed recommendations for the workpiece material.
