The KEO 907-000-095 is a combination drill and countersink designed for simultaneous center drilling and countersinking in a single operation. Built from cobalt tool steel with a bright, uncoated finish, this tool handles harder materials and higher heat applications where standard high-speed steel falls short. The body measures 1/4 inch in diameter with a 7/64-inch drill point diameter and a 5-inch overall length, making it a long-length tool suited for deeper setups or extended-reach fixtures. The 60-degree included angle and 118-degree drill point angle are standard geometry for center drilling on manual and CNC lathes, mills, and drill presses. Right-hand cut, plain cutting edge, and a double end type extend usable tool life.
This combo drill countersink is used in metalworking shops, maintenance facilities, and production environments where center holes are required before turning or grinding operations. The long-length design accommodates setups where standard-length tools cannot reach the workpiece. It is appropriate for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and other ferrous materials that benefit from the heat resistance of cobalt. A licensed machinist or tool-and-die tradesperson typically selects and installs this tool in a collet, chuck, or tool holder.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use combo drill countersink for metalworking operations requiring a No. 3 trade size, 1/4-inch body, long-length center drill with a 60-degree countersink angle.
Install in a collet or drill chuck appropriate for a 1/4-inch shank diameter and ensure the tool is seated and clamped securely before operation. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or adjusting tooling. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to manage heat, particularly when machining hardened or stainless steels. Inspect both ends for wear or chipping before use; replace when cutting edges show visible degradation.
