The KEO 906-000-310 is a combination drill and countersink designed to drill a pilot hole and chamfer a seat in a single pass. Built from high-speed steel with a titanium nitride coating, it delivers extended tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The body measures 3/8 inches in diameter with a 9/64-inch drill point diameter and an overall length of 2.5 inches. The included angle is 60 degrees and the drill point angle is 118 degrees. This tool is suited for machinists, maintenance technicians, and fabricators working in production or job-shop environments where countersinking speed and accuracy matter.
This combination drill countersink is used wherever a countersunk seat is needed prior to fastener installation - common in metalworking, light fabrication, and maintenance repair operations. The double-end design maximizes tool life by providing two usable cutting ends. Right-hand cut geometry works with standard drill press, CNC, or hand-drill setups. It is appropriate for use in steel, aluminum, brass, and similar materials where a clean countersink seat is required before installing flat-head fasteners or center-drilling for lathe work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use combination drill countersink for standard drill press, lathe, or CNC spindle setups requiring a size 4-1/2 trade size countersink with a 3/8-inch body diameter.
Installation is performed by machinists or maintenance technicians using a drill press, lathe tailstock, or CNC machine with a compatible collet or chuck. Secure the workpiece firmly before engaging the spindle, and apply cutting fluid when working with harder steels to reduce heat buildup. Inspect both cutting ends for wear before use and rotate to the unused end when the first shows signs of dulling. Do not exceed the recommended RPM range for the workpiece material and tool diameter.
