The KEO 906-000-196 is a combination drill and countersink designed for simultaneously drilling a pilot hole and forming a countersink seat in a single pass. Built from cobalt high-speed steel, this tool handles harder workpiece materials where standard HSS tooling falls short. The body measures 1 inch in diameter with a 3/8-inch drill point diameter and a 3/8-inch drill point length. Overall length is 3-3/4 inches. The bright, uncoated finish is standard for cobalt tooling and is suited for applications where lubrication is applied at the cutting zone. Right-hand cutting direction is consistent with conventional drill press and CNC spindle rotation.
This combo drill countersink is sized for No. 10 fasteners and is used in metalworking and fabrication environments where countersunk screw seats are required. The 60-degree included angle and 118-degree drill point angle make it appropriate for standard countersunk fastener seats. It is a double-end tool, offering two usable cutting ends to extend service life. Typical applications include sheet metal fabrication, general machining, and structural assembly work where countersunk flathead fasteners must sit flush with the workpiece surface.
Designed as an OEM-style combo drill countersink for use with No. 10 fasteners requiring a standard 82-degree or 60-degree countersunk seat in ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
This tool is installed in a drill press, milling machine, or CNC spindle using the appropriate collet or chuck sized for the tool shank. Secure the workpiece firmly before operation to prevent movement during the combined drilling and countersinking pass. Apply cutting fluid or coolant to extend tool life and improve surface finish, particularly when working with harder alloys. Inspect both cutting ends for wear before use and index to the unused end when the first end shows signs of dulling.
