The KEO 906-000-091 is a combination drill and countersink designed to drill a pilot hole and chamfer a countersink in a single operation. Built from high-speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers extended wear resistance in production and maintenance drilling applications. The body measures 1/4 inch in diameter with a 7/64 inch point diameter and a 2-inch overall length. The 118-degree drill point angle is the standard geometry for general-purpose metal drilling. This tool is sized No. 3 and features a 60-degree included countersink angle, right-hand cutting direction, and a plain cutting edge style. Machinists, tool-and-die shops, and maintenance mechanics use this type of tool when preparing fastener seats in steel, aluminum, and similar materials.
This combination drill countersink is suited for countersinking operations in metal fabrication, general machining, and maintenance repair environments. It is used with drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power drills where a consistent countersink seat is required ahead of flathead fastener installation. The double-end design extends tool life by providing two usable ends before replacement is needed. No. 3 sizing corresponds to common pilot and countersink requirements for standard machine screws.
Designed as an OEM-style combination drill countersink for use in standard drill chucks and collets accepting a 1/4 inch shank, compatible with drill presses, machining centers, and power drills in general metalworking applications.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or maintenance mechanics familiar with rotary cutting tools. Secure the workpiece firmly before drilling to prevent movement during the operation. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to reduce heat buildup and extend tool life. Inspect both cutting ends for wear or chipping before each use and replace the tool when cutting performance degrades.
