The KEO 906-000-069 is a combination drill and countersink designed for simultaneous drilling and countersinking operations in a single pass. Built from cobalt tool steel with a bright, uncoated finish, this tool handles demanding applications where standard high-speed steel falls short. The body measures 0.125 inches in diameter with a drill point diameter of 0.047 inches and an overall length of 1.25 inches. The 118-degree drill point angle and 60-degree included countersink angle are standard geometry for most general metalworking and fabrication tasks. Machinists, tool and die makers, and maintenance technicians use this type of tool when preparing holes for flat-head fasteners or center-drilling stock before turning operations.
This combo drill countersink fits trade size number 1 and is suited for use in drill presses, CNC machining centers, and manual lathes where a compact, rigid tool is required. The right-hand cutting direction and plain cutting edge style make it compatible with conventional spindle rotation setups. Its short overall length of 1.25 inches provides rigidity and reduces deflection when spotting or countersinking in light-gauge metals, stainless steel, and other hard materials where cobalt tooling offers the necessary heat resistance.
Designed as a standard trade size number 1 combo drill countersink compatible with drill presses, lathes, and CNC machining centers accepting tools with a 0.125-inch body diameter shank.
Installation and use of this tool should be performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians familiar with cutting tool setups. Secure the tool firmly in the appropriate collet or chuck and verify concentricity before operation. Always power down and lock out the spindle before changing or adjusting tooling. Do not exceed the recommended spindle speeds for cobalt tools in the material being cut, and use appropriate cutting fluid to extend tool life and maintain finish quality.
